CALLING ALL COUPLES!

These are challenging times, no doubt. Don’t lose hope, love is NOT cancelled. We as experts are in your corner and want to do what we can to ensure your BIG day is special and worth the wait. As we navigate through the new normal for a while, here is a guide to help you postpone your event(s) amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

  1. Reach out to your wedding planner (if any)

If you have a wedding planner you are working with, reach out to them and let them know you would like to postpone your event(s). If not, contact your venue coordinator to inquire about future dates available. Once you received the list of dates, contact other vendors to determine their availability based on those particular dates. We also recommend using tools like Doodle, to help vendors ‘vote’ on future dates they have available. This will expedite your process to choose a new date.

  2. Read all contracts

Read your contracts and work with vendors to determine how postponements impact your new date (if at all). It is important to understand, if there are pricing changes, how far out can you postpone, and other details. Please note, all vendors have different contracts in place, no one contract applies to all, work with your individual vendor to meet your event needs.

  3. Sign postponement contracts

Your new date is not blocked, until you sign a postponement contract (with us).

  4. Inform your guests

Now that you have a new event(s) date booked. It’s time to inform your guests. There are many ways to delivery this notice in a stylish manner, don’t let your creative side down! Use services like Paperless Post, Minted or have your invitation/event designer, design a graphic, which you can send to your guests.

    NOW TAKE A DEEP BREATH…

Be thankful for your health and loved ones. As chaotic as the current situation is, it will pass and we will all get through it together. Your vendor team is here to help you! Feel free to reach out to us, to answer any questions you may have or to be your holding hand while you make these tough decisions.

Small businesses need you more than you can imagine and we TRULY APPRECIATE your decision to postpone!
