CALLING ALL COUPLES!

These are challenging times, no doubt. Don’t lose hope, love is NOT cancelled. We as experts are in your corner and want to do what we can to ensure your BIG day is special and worth the wait. As we navigate through the new normal for a while, here is a guide to help you postpone your event(s) amid the COVID-19 Pandemic.

  1. Reach out to your wedding planner (if any)

If you have a wedding planner you are working with, reach out to them and let them know you would like to postpone your event(s). If not, contact your venue coordinator to inquire about future dates available. Once you received the list of dates, contact other vendors to determine their availability based on those particular dates. We also recommend using tools like Doodle, to help vendors ‘vote’ on future dates they have available. This will expedite your process to choose a new date.

  2. Read all contracts

Read your contracts and work with vendors to determine how postponements impact your new date (if at all). It is important to understand, if there are pricing changes, how far out can you postpone, and other details. Please note, all vendors have different contracts in place, no one contract applies to all, work with your individual vendor to meet your event needs.

  3. Sign postponement contracts

Your new date is not blocked, until you sign a postponement contract (with us).

  4. Inform your guests

Now that you have a new event(s) date booked. It’s time to inform your guests. There are many ways to delivery this notice in a stylish manner, don’t let your creative side down! Use services like Paperless Post, Minted or have your invitation/event designer, design a graphic, which you can send to your guests.

    NOW TAKE A DEEP BREATH…

Be thankful for your health and loved ones. As chaotic as the current situation is, it will pass and we will all get through it together. Your vendor team is here to help you! Feel free to reach out to us, to answer any questions you may have or to be your holding hand while you make these tough decisions.

Small businesses need you more than you can imagine and we TRULY APPRECIATE your decision to postpone!

A Minimalistic Affair

Featured Wedding and Reception

March 3rd, 2018

Hotel Valencia, San Jose

Don’t worry we will be there, rain or shine. Rain is considered good luck for weddings and it sure was for our stunning bride and groom. Less is more was the motto for this event, we dressed the outdoor ceremony area with florals in coral hues and splash of hot pink, finished the setup with a clear tent whose ceiling was adorned with market lights.

Romantic touches were added to the surrounding space with floating Lilies. The bride and groom vowed to each other in front of ombre floral garlands in orange and fuchsia palette hung over a waterfall fountain. The aisles were decorated with petals and rustic lanterns gleaming in flickering candle lights.

The reception was held in the ballroom filled with soft blush hues reflected in florals to the walls. The guest tables were covered in rose toned satin fabric adorned with blush and ivory floral halos inserted around a melting candle in a clear holder, adding a glow to the room.

The couple sat as Mr. and Mrs. in front of a sparkling backdrop finished with a long cascading floral piece on their sweetheart table.

This intimate affair was filled with a room full of love with a splash of elegance in design and decor

Aman & Navneet

Wedding and Reception Feature

2/23/2018 and 2/24/2018

At Gurdwara Sahib of San Jose and Ritz Carlton, San Francisco

Pastel hues with hints of sparkling silver were the color palette for our gorgeous bride and groom. Designing Aman & Navneet’s events were one of our favorites this year, thus far. Who doesn’t love a couple who knows exactly what they want?

For the wedding, we designed a whimsical yet glamorous sweetheart table at the luncheon with suspended roses and greens. The tables was adorned with pastel rose linens and complemented with classic style floral arrangements in blush pink, ivory, and purple hues.

The color palette followed into the reception the next day while we brought the outdoors indoors. A twelve-foot hedge wall carried their initials A & N with florals across the top and finished the look with scattered roses on the entire wall. The grand ballroom was covered in lit candelabras with cascading florals on half the tables, while the other half took on a classic style floral centerpiece finished in silver antique urns.

The guests enjoyed libations and hors d'oeuvre in the cocktail area with ceiling height draping and lounge seating.

We were honored to be a part of Aman & Navneet’s decor and enjoyed their unique sense of style.

Centerpieces Take Center Stage!

Whether your center pieces are solely floral, candlelit or they incorporate unique trinkets- let your centerpieces take center stage! The personal touches of a centerpiece can take your tables from simple to SWOON! ✨
Saba Decor had the pleasure of celebrating Jesse and Aman at their beautiful wedding venue; Chaminade Resort and Spa in Santa Cruz. While the views of the Santa Cruz Redwoods were quite incredible against the morning fog, as the day progressed the sun peaked through and further made their Outdoor Mandap ceremony a sight to see. For that, we created an arch which included orange silk brocade draping, and strings of orange hued carnations. It perfectly complemented the other natural aspects of the venue, including the seascape view in the distance.
As we made our way inside for the reception, the room was bursting with natural light, and quite special centerpieces.
Each table had a soft pink and cream hued floral halo to complement its center. Alternating, in the center of each floral halo we added a glass candle votive and tea-light. While the other tables were adorned with golden Manzanita trees. To add warm and whimsical lighting, each tree held suspended glass globes and were also adorned with a tea light candle.
As the night progressed, the tables were shining and the branches of the manzanita trees casted little shadows against the glass wares and plum table linens.
The best part about these centerpieces was the combination of each aspect of the piece. The incorporation of fresh florals, golden manzanita trees and unique hanging glass globes to show off the tea-lights.
So, for your next event let those tables shine! Add your personal touches, and don't be afraid to switch it up by alternating your decor from one table to another. You'll love what you see! ✨

Whimsical Wedding at Gardens at Heather Farms!

Congratulations to Ramya and Owen!
There is something to be said about having an outdoor ceremony and that is how absolutely whimsical it can be! The Garden at Heather Farms has magical grounds, with forest like lush trees and plants. Their wildlife reserve makes an exceptional venue for an outdoor garden themed wedding.

Our weekend was filled with gorgeous floral arrangements from The Floral Loft, which was incorporated into Ramya and Owen’s first ceremony. Talk about flower power! On a beautiful lush lawn overlooking the main fountain, our wooden Mandap set up was quite enchanting. Hanging lanterns lined the vibrant red carpet which led up to the stage, where strings of ombre pastel carnations hung from each post. The center of the Mandap was lined with traditional handcrafted chairs and accessories for the bride and groom. As Ramya and Owen completed their Hindu nuptials, our team for prepping for the grand finale, reception.

The whimsical feeling was going strong, with the soft pink uplighting and blush pink sequin covered head table, the room was bursting with beautiful pink hues. We  added crystal chandeliers in between the gold sequin glamorous draping to tie the magical feel. Each table was covered with blush pink tablecloth and was complimented by rustic flower centerpieces, provided by The Floral Loft.

As the night went on the room was dazzling with sparkle and romance, while the guests laughed and danced the night away. It was the perfect scene as sweet stories of the bride and groom were shared with the room.

Congratulations to Ramya and Owen, and thank you for having us design and decorate a milestone in your life.

Cheers!
